What began as a small Bible study in 2006 has now blossomed into the growing 300+ member WWH2H Church that serves many in Puerto Cortes and the surrounding villages. The shepherds of this flock are Senior Pastor Oscar Serrano and Assistant Pastor Angel Chirinos.
These priceless church members have become the extended family for the children at the Village. They host our many teams that come each year with transportation and meals. They care for the poor and needy in the neighborhoods and villages they come from, with weekly food baskets. They do evangelism in many places in Honduras. They visit those in prison with services, meals and celebrations on holiday.
Our WWH2H Bus picks up children and adults from many poor neighborhoods to bring them to Sunday School each week. There are neighborhood Bible Study cell groups on Tuesdays, Youth Group on Fridays and Adult Worship services on Saturday night.
But most importantly, they show up each morning at 5 am for prayer for the church, the children, the WWH2H ministry and specifically, for each team that comes to minister Jesus to their people. Their faithfulness in prayer and fasting for things God lays on their hearts is the foundation for the work Jesus is conducting in this amazing place.
