ASOCORA (WWH2H) COMMUNITY CHURCH

Oscar attended a Baptist seminary after graduating high school and was ordained as a pastor. Prior to accepting the position as Honduras National Directors with his wife Amy, Oscar pastored Iglesia Cristiana Resurreccion that meets in the chapel at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Centralia, Washington.

In 2006, Pastor Oscar was asked to start a Bible study group in Puerto Cortes, Honduras. When 60 people showed up at the first meeting, the Bible study group instantly became the ASOCORA (WWH2H) Community Church.

CHURCH SERVICES

Worship services are held in our new Worldwide Heart to Heart Church that was completed in 2008.

Adult worship is at 6:00 Saturday nights. Sunday school is at 9:00 Sunday mornings.

COMMUNITY SUPPORT

Members of the ASOCORA Church are very active in the community. For Christmas, each family brings a poor family to service and a full Christmas dinner ias provided by the church. The guest families each receive a gift basket.

YOUTH GROUP

A youth group for teenagers meets at 6:00 Friday nights at the church. Adult members of the church join members of the youth group in crusades in remote areas.

Oscar and his wife Amy lead Christian music in Spanish (and English for American visitors) during church services.

One of the Honduras board members picks up kids from the Village as well as families from Puerto Cortes.
